The photograph below was submitted by website visitor Bill Stephenson

Bill Stephenson wrote to me earlier this year requesting further information about the Norfolk Broads cruiser Consort. I know from previous experience that a posting on these pages can often prove fruitful, so I hope that someone can provide more information about Consort, even if it's to say that she's longer afloat.
This is what Bill had to say - "I am attaching a photograph of my two aunts sitting on the Consort in 1950. I believe this was taken at Potter Heigham. This shows that the hull was white, unlike the Consort displayed on the website you gave me. I recently spoke to a cousin who was with us and she is certain that we rented from a boatyard in Thorpe. I wonder if this is enough information for you to guide me further. I do appreciate your help."
